Sorry...........I just couldn't resist inserting this new 'please pay attention' smilie in the post! LOL

Firstly, check out my latest blog post...........SHOPPING FOR RED. See it HERE.

I know purple was very popular last month and red is perhaps not quite so easy to work with. This month I chose red for obvious reasons.........Valentine's Day, red roses, red hearts etc etc

So let's see your red pages! Upload to the Monthly Challenges Gallery HERE and don't forget to come back and post in this thread.

Definitely not my favourite either Lisa. I like it just as 'pops' on a page.

Robyn, I enjoyed looking at your wonderful Shopping for Red blog article.
I had a feeling that you would choose the color red for February so I had my page ready.

I'm on a roll...but time to stop now. Don't you love it when a layout just comes together without a minimum of fuss. I extracted using a mask, then duplicated the background layer and desaturated it to make the water BW and swan pop out a bit, clipped it to a blending mask and scrapped it

Love your page, this is definitely not an ugly duckling (I'm sorry, every time I see a swan I think of that song!) I love the blending mask, great LO

I like red, but not so much for layouts. Hope to find something.

Red is one of the hardest colors to work with, either in design or layout. But I needed some art therapy and this worked perfect. xoxo
