I had an assignment to create a flea market page for a blog article. It was fun to go through my stash, and find embellishments to fit the eclectic style of a flea market. The flea market decor style is best described as the accumulation of seeming unrelated items in which each piece tells a story. These items often have contrasting patterns, unique textures and stylings and even a worn or old look to them. For my page, I used jeweled flowers, beads, feathers, and lace; all the baubles you might find at a flea market to tell the story of our Angelic Halloween. I hope you enjoy this challenge. I look forward to being inspired by your interpretations of the flea market style.
