  • Photography Challenge: What's in your garden?

We're all in different parts of the world, so I know it's winter for some of you.

Take a few minutes and go outside with your camera (or phone) and take a couple photos to share with us!

I'm loving all of the bright colors and flying things right now! (The 90+ degree temps and high humidity, not so much.)

Here is a skipper, more info about them in the gallery.

OK, I must do this one! My wonderful neighbor came over this morning and weeded my whole flower garden and planted some flowers that I had bought before I had my attack. It looks so pretty!! Yesterday her husband mowed the whole front of my yard. I LOVE MY NEIGHBORS!!!!

Don't have a photo but I had a body in my garden this afternoon! Elderly man on a ladder, trimming the tree in the garden behind ours, fell off and came over the fence into our garden, together with the ladder and saw! Thankfully he has only damaged his elbow and lower arm, but at 85 it could have been so much worse. I think my poor fuschia took the full force of his weight and broke his fall.

Good grief! He could have done some real damage to himself.

used a photo of the gazebo for the Featured Designer, August. Robyn said she couldn't tell what it was and she was right ... so here is the story and a better photo

You're very good at repurposing things, Evelyn! And it didn't look like a fence to me.
