Selfie... Anyone??

This is story of how I spent my day - getting selfies taken for a new avatar.

I put some make-up on,. brushed, then shoved the hair around, threw a shawl over my shoulders, and went to set up the laptop so I could take a "few" selfies to use for my new Avatar. "Should only take a few minutes," I told myself. HA!!! Over an hour later the laptop warned that the battery was getting too low and shut down. Did I get the photos from the camera roll into an email.... of course not! Waited an hour for the battery to recharge the laptop and was finally able to copy the photos into an email to myself so I could send them to my main computer where my PSE program is. Took over an hour to select and size the photo for the avatar. You can read the story about a couple of photos that I rejected on the page. Maybe I will keep using this new avatar for the next several years... Yeah... that is a great idea!!

Totally LOVE this page Kay. I loved reading the back story and your page is fabulous........hair cut looks good too. JA5 JA5

Gorgeous page and photos Kay! I read the story and as Robyn, loved it! Technology is not always easy and some days it can be an hard time moment.
Love the journaling, the making and for sure it deserves a GSO!

I can totally relate to your plight. I don't understand how people get good selfies. The angle is always wrong when I try, then again, I don't like most photos of me period. Good for you sticking in there.
Well done on the GSO for your very relatable LO

Great stuff Kay, something I find hard to achieve is a selfie on phone or latptop. Congratulations on GSO for such an innovative page.

Kay, congrats on the GSO! Love the fabulous journaling, photos and page! Have you tried to take a selfie on your mobile phone? It seems to me to be easier to take a selfie on the mobile phone than on a laptop.

Congratulations Kay! POTD February 10th.\

I can't use my cell phone to take selfies... My fingers are too cold to make it work... I have to use a stylus on it or any touch screen.

You look great Kay. Selfies are hard to get nice that’s for sure. Congratulations on page of the day! And GSO!

Kay, this is amazing! I love the story, it made me laugh since I can imagine all the trouble with the laptop, but it was definitely worth it, you look amazing, and I love the page and the title and the whole concept is brilliant, congrats on such well deserving GSO and POTD. xoxo

I have to use a stylus to type on the cell phone too and also on the iPad but I can take photos without using the stylus.
