QUESTION Any tips for users new to ai?

They all say to make description as detailed as possible but sometimes it is difficult to describe the look you want. Also, be aware that ai doesn't recognize all the expressions we use. For example, everyone here probably knows that the expression "Black Irish" does not refer to African types but rather to Irish with fair skin, black hair and blue eyes? Even if you add those qualifiers ai sees "Black" and reads African. Can make for odd results.

Oh my gosh, my granddaughter just sent me the most awesome photos from an app called Remini, but it's $7.99 a week. All the apps I've looked at are about that same price. She wanted to see what she and her boyfriend's son would look like and it's amazing! The photographs look so real. I can ask her for more details. She's out of town right now, but she's always on top of all that stuff. The little boy was a perfect match between the two of them. She also asked what HER daughter would look like and it looked a lot like my little great-granddaughter (her brother's baby)!

It is hard to get what you want...but if you are being specific you will get results...sometimes, instead of writing Black Irish, try exactly what you said: Irishman with fair (or tan) skin, dark hair, blue eyes, elegant and the colors of his suit are in Brown...etc, etc.
I learned more when I take a look at other examples and what they wrote to get what they wanted.

Yes, those are kind of the prices, but that is for Phones, and I like to use them on my PC. When I tried it with photos they made me an anime look, which I don't like. That's a nice experience Cheryl what your granddaughter did. But I just checked it out and it has bad reviews...it seems that people is having issues wit the software.

That's good to know. She deleted it after her two free days.

I don't pay for AI.
- If you have Photoshop and have an account, you could use Adobe Firefly (Beta)
- Night Cafè is free
- Deep Dream Generator is free (I recommend this one)
Enjoy!

Thanks Karen. I've started looking at favorite example to see what prompts were used. Naturally, the best seem to have hidden their prompts. Can't say I blame them as I'm sure they worked hard to achieve their results.

I started using AI but I don't want to pay at this time...I've used Starryai which is free and using Firefly a lot...I'm an Adobe user so I use for free.
