@Ev the wind was so bad here yesterday and we decided it wasn't worth putting our can out. It was paper recycling and when I drove down my street I saw Amazon boxes tossed all over. What a mess with garbage -- yuck

My son is on a 7-day Wilderness First Responder course and has been car-camping in the snow. He lives for this stuff. Not me!

I had my cataract surgery last Thursday and I agree with you that the colours are so much more vivid and finally I don't see through what felt like a cloud! I go for the other eye in April but in the meantime, my old reading glasses are doing the job for now. Yay for seeing clearly again!

In february we got a cute little puppy, called Teddy. To prevent him for getting to the stairs we put a fence in the hallway. Sadly in the beginning of March I fell hard and broke my foot. Friday I was operated (more than 3 hours) and now my foot is in cast for several weeks. My computer is on the second floor so I wasn't able to use it. I now have a laptop in the living room and just logged in. So happy to be part of the community again.

March is flying by, especially since I've been busy! We celebrated my in-law's 65th wedding anniversary Saturday. Did you know that anniversary is blue sapphire? I didn't!! I made decorations--a banner and flower bouquet and more flowers to decorate the dining table. My SIL had a vision for decorations and I helped make it happen with my Cricut. I also mad them a card/frame, you can see their reaction in the top right attached photo. They didn't want a big celebration like we had for their 50th so it was just immediate family. We had a good dinner and spent a lot of time remembering family and good times through photos.

Looks like I need to change my siggy since spring is finally here!

My next projects are for my oldest grandson's birthday, he will be 3. Quite different than the anniversary decorations. ;)

I hope to be around more after his birthday and Easter and a trip to Tennessee to celebrate those things!

Clautje, so sorry about your fall and all the inconvenience this causes for you. At
least you can stay in Contact with your Laptop. I fell twice because I did not watch
my feet - Felt my bones for a few days but else I am o.k.:-6
Congratulations on your puppy ! Please post a photo when you can ! 🐢
