Do you have an ever growing number of old private messages and don't know how to delete them? It's quite a simple procedure to delete (leave) messages.
1. Open up your conversation (PM) mailbox (the little envelope icon on the right hand side of the top bar). Click on Show all at the bottom left of the pop up box and you will see a list of your conversations.
2. Look at the small check boxes towards the right hand side.
3. Check one and then scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see an option to select all.
4. From the Choose action drop down menu, select leave conversations - then click on go.
You don't have to select all. You can manually just check individual boxes if you don't want to delete (leave) all messages.
5. You can also click on and open individual messages. When you have a message open, look at the top right where the options are in a horizontal bar and you will see STAR, MARK UNREAD, LEAVE. Click on leave
You will then have two options from which to choose. Choose which one you prefer and then click on Leave.
6. It should be noted that leaving a conversation only affects the member's view of the conversation. Leaving doesn't actually delete the conversation from the data base, and unless the other person leaves it too, the data still remains.
