Free CraftArtist2 Download!

Hi folks
For anyone wanting a downloadable copy of CraftArtist 2 Professional you can acquire one at archive.org :

I still maintain that CA2 is the best digital program for Crafters and Digital Artists ....it really does deliver what it says on the tin! the Archive.org website does appeal for donations for which I have paid $5 this morning and I'm downloading a free copy of CA2 as I type (it's a big file!) .....this is a bargain 'price' to pay for a wonderful 'toy'. If ever I can find some 'cheap' hard copies of CA2 I will certainly be snapping them up....it makes a great gift for arty farty friends!...LOL ♥

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to one and all.

EDIT......link removed.

Thanks for this, I have hard copy of both, but if I didn't I would be using your link.

Thanks Anne. I will keep this handy to use if I ever loose my software that I have stored on an external hard drive.

Thanks Anne I will be downloading this as it’s always good to have a spare. I agree with you CA2 is a superb program and I would be devastated if I lost it. I keep telling myself I’m going to learn photoshop but it doesn’t happen. 😂

Thank you Anne. I will try to dowload because I've just bought a new pc, I have the number keys but it does'nt work. I written to Serif but they ask me to connect with my old address email. I don't have this email since a long time, etc... a lot of troubles.
I don't use Craft Artist all the time but I like it for some works and resize my pages. If it works I will happy to send some money to the owner of the site.

Probably it's not available now, I can download the file but not able to extract.

Thank you so much for the link! I have a key and even the cd, but my current laptop doesn't have a cd reader. :)
One day I will learn how to use some new software, but for now it's so comfortable to use CraftArtist. I can quickly open it up, and I know exactly what to do for quick edits or collages.

Hi Anne, I'm new on this forum, which I found after doing some research on CraftArtist and managed to download the original CA via the Serif site. I had CraftArtist2 but lost it when I changed from a PC to a laptop. I see that you linked a free download for CA2. Am I right in saying that I'd need my Product Key to access this?

Anne is not here a lot at the moment, so I will try to answer. The link given is not to a Serif affiliated site as far as I know. I did have a look at it at the time, but decided not to use it, as it looked not to legit, ( it has a torrent file option download ,usually a good indicator it is not original) ) and I still have 2 versions of CA ( though 1 keeps crashing and I have all but given up on it for ever.). If you have bought the software from Serif , you can always download it again, and you can check your product key via their site. ( or cleverbridge I think, but they will tell you. )
Hope this helps.

@Julie, your reply went to Robyn's mail, but she forwarded it so no worries.
Hope you will find your disk, but there is not such a very big difference between the two, (actually it is my CA2 that is crashing not the original CA , go figure ) But I wish you happy scrapping, and I really hope to see your pages in the gallery here soon . We have some fun challenges too, and good natured banter. Good luck.

@nemla oops, I'm so sorry that I sent my reply to the wrong place :( but at least it got to you eventually.
I've searched high and low for the disk but it's looking more likely that it's been thrown out. There are a couple of bits that I seem to remember quite liking. There were more stencil shapes (I think) and punches if I remember rightly. Anyhow, like you say, at least I have a version that I can use and access to some CraftArtist digi kits via 4 CD's so all is not lost.
Thank you for replying and I'll put some pages up on the gallery soon x
