Hello everyone. I've been following the Facebook page for Just Art and have been enticed by the challenges. I finally decided to join in on the fun.
I'm a retired accountant, in western Washington State, in the foothills of beautiful Mount Rainier. I live with my two dogs, Strider and Ranger, both Border Collies, and both are trained for sheep-herding. I recently had a surgery to remove a meningioma tumor that was, unfortunately, behind my right eye. It was discovered when I went in to have cataracts removed. I still haven't had the cataracts removed. They didn't take out the entire tumor, because it was resting against the optic nerve. Now, they're watching and waiting, and then they will decide if I should have some radiation. They don't seem to be in any hurry, but I sure would like to get my cataracts removed. It's always a waiting game!! .. Anyway, so, I tend to create larger images, and I tend to stay away from intricate color blends. I just finished an online Photoshop class for brushes, and I'd like to use some of the fun things that I learned. I started another class for making frames. I love to learn new things in Photoshop. I started creating digital images many-many years ago, with Paint Shop Pro. I've been collecting kits and elements forever. My Dropbox site is loaded, but there's always room for more <big smile>. My daughter and her hubby are both computer techs, and they keep me up and running smoothly. It's good to have computer techs in the family!! Thanks for providing all these wonderful challenges. I'm looking forward to many happy hours of playing!!
