1. With Gallery selected on the top Navigation Bar, click on either of one these two Add media links.
2. You will see a popup screen that will give you options where to upload your image.
For the purpose of this tutorial I have chosen to upload to the Members' Galleries first. More on additional galleries further down this post.
NOTE.....if you scroll down the list you will see an option to create an album (for now or later use).
3. Click on upload file.
4. Choose the page that you want to add to your gallery from your computer. Select the page or pages that you want to upload.
5. The file name of your page will automatically be added as your title, so change that to whatever is appropriate. In the description box leave your credits (just remember that no outside linking to designers' stores is permitted here) and any description that you wish to add. If you are uploading for one of our monthly challenges, it would be MOST HELPFUL if you name the challenge for which this page was created.
6. Click on save and you are done.
7. If you want to add your image to additional categories before you save, click on the word Show. (If you have already saved the image to the gallery you can still come back and add additional categories with the Edit page button.)
8. Select the extra category/categories that you want your page to be in. You can check as many as you wish/need.
9. Click save.
If you have chosen to upload more than one page, repeat the process above and click Save after you have finished filling in the information for each page.
PLEASE NOTE!
If you upload to more than one category, it is still only the one image. If you change, edit or delete that image, those changes will be reflected in every category.
Change image is very handy if you want to change an image that you have already uploaded. For example, you may have noticed a mistake in your image and want to replace it with the correct image.
If you Edit a page, as well as changing the title and description, you can go back and add additional categories that you didn't select in the initial upload.
NOTE ABOUT UPLOADING TO ALBUMS.
Please read post #18 in this thread for information about how additional categories work in albums.
