CHALLENGES May Altered Photo Challenge

This month the filter you use is Your Choice. But, there's a catch! Find a photo with 1 subject
(animal, person, item) in the center of your photo.
Duplicate your photo and extract the subject (It does not have to be perfect). On the original image apply your filter.
Then add the extacted subject and decorate your page.
Let us know what filter you used.
Post it in the Altered Photo Gallery and then back here.
I will leave my comments in the Gallery only.
Have Fun!

Here's mine:
I used the Curlique Filter in Paint Shop Pro

I like this idea and that filter you used is great. Wondering if PS has something similar.

Thank you! I looked and I didn't see anything close to it. That's why I made it whatever filter you want to use. JA6 JA6 JA6

Thanks for the challenge, DeLoris. I used Ocean Ripple effect and made this page recently according to a tutorial of Marianne @Margje.

Thank you for hosting this challenge again. Its one of my favourites. Here is my offering.

I used three filters on my photo. All photoshop filters. First I used Rough Pastels, then Poster Edges and finally Water Colour.

I don't know if it's me who did'nt understand what you want in the challenge DeLoris, but you talk about an extraction...is it exact?
