This thread is set up as a result of what Vivi (nemla) suggested. This is what she said........

Also , and this is just a suggestion, and please everyone don't get the wrong idea, (I want to know , who is not feeling well too, and I care about people here) but there is an awful lot of sickness and ailments, usually mentioned in the "what shall we talk about " thread.
Could we perhaps have a "Tea and Sympathy " thread as well ? Then anyone who is not feeling to good, or who is looking after someone who is sick, frail or old, and need some kind words along the way, or is going to be absent, have a place to post that, without using the "what shall we talk about" thread for that.

So if you are not feeling well or needing support for something that is going on in your life, this thread is the place for you to get some 'tea and sympathy' and some cyber love!

Good idea! and in the same time I will give an update on my state of health. The good news is that my platelet counts have reached a good level for the moment but I'm in cortisone withdrawal and gradually we can see if it holds and if the new intravenous treatment also works (this treatment has slower results, can take up to 3 months depending on each patient).

For sure I will probably not have a lot of energy for a good while (I have slept very little for 5 months and with all the bad effects of medication too) but I dare to believe that I will gradually recover, especially as the medical appointments go space out and stay more at home (and scrap a little too;)) fingers crossed.
Thank you for read that and for your good words of encouragement that you wrote to me, very appreciated. xx:-62

Micheline, good news and update. I'm glad that you were feeling better yesterday to upload two fabulous pages to the gallery and to leave wonderful comments for others. As I said before in another thread, please don't over-do in leaving so many comments when you are not well. Sending you positive and healing vibes...

This certainly sounds like an improvement Micheline, albeit very gradual. Hopefully this improvement will continue and you will regain some energy and also some much needed sleep.

That's good news Miqueline. Now you can rest up and recover without worrying so much about your platelet count. It's good news indeed. :-36

aw poor you Helga, for sure you are so tired:sleep:, sneeze, blow nose and cough is so tiring and infuriating... Luckily you'll finally pass the allergy test and I cross my fingers that the cause is found and the medecine can help you and solves the problem.
For sure they will found.
Send you a lot of love Helga xx:-62
