Today my Son Justin is finally at peace. He died this morning from either a Heart Attack or an accidental overdose. Some of you are aware of the problems in my life sharing a home with my son and the deal places we have been in. Right now Scrspping is far from my mind. But will be back sometime
I have been travelling and only just saw this Christina. Please accept my big hugs, time to move on and enjoy your life. Thinking of you.

Darn, Helga > I was a researcher years ago - found this for you - -
Warm up the air.
Most sleep experts recommend sleeping in a room that’s slightly colder than what’s comfortable when you’re awake, as this can induce sleepiness. However, this can have an unintended side effect. When the air coming in from your CPAP is cold, your nose attempts to warm it up by dilating your blood vessels. The additional blood flow can narrow your airways, in turn causing additional mucus production. The end result is waking up with clogged nasal passages and a potentially runny nose.

One way around this temperature dilemma is to make sure that the air coming into your CPAP is warm. You can create heat by running the tube under your blankets and next to your body. As your body warms beneath the covers, you can consequently increase the temperature of the air within the tubing.

Another option is to use a CPAP tube cover. pick up a tube cover!
After seeing animals wearing a kind of tent around their necks after an operation,
I had an idea. I punctured the bottom of my mousse cup until it secured the en -
trance of the air hose like a tent. Eve, thanks again.:-42
Problem solved ? Not completely ! The CPAP is now very noisy now so my CPAP
and I spent the past night completely covered under the blanket. I think part of
the Cold comes from my breathing. 😕

I also saw tube covering you can buy - if you can't find any over there let me know and I'll send you one - they aren't expensive (I think)!

NO - like what Jody shows ... exactly ... and I doubt your breath is contributing to the cold - it's the machine! ♥

You know the bandage for the wrist ? One of mine has widened over the
time. I wrapped it twice around the hose (?) There is no more cold air or
any noise. What a simple solution ! Wish I´d this idea right away ! ;)
