Just before Xmas 2021 my husband was diagnosed with terminal cancer, I discovered a lump in my breast which was diagnosed as early stage cancer then to top it all off at the same time my niece aged 51 was also diagnosis with Bile Duct Cancer ( they say it comes in threes!). She fought hard but sadly lost her battle two weeks ago and now I have to deal with going to her funeral so soon after my husbands.
Not looking for sympathy at all, just offloading and letting it out.

I am so sorry yet again for your loss. What a terrible time you are having. My thoughts are with you Barb.
 
@Barb - I'm truly sorry for all the hardships & losses with which you are dealing; I am hoping that you will be one of the people who wins the battle with the nasty killer C! Be as good to yourself as is possible. :-e🤞
 
Hoping I can break the circle of revisiting colds. One had barely left me,now another one started. I know it is nothing much in the grater space of things , but it is starting to get me down. I have constant headaches,because of course it goes straight to the sinus, and low grade fever that leaves me tired,but not giving me rest. My hubby had a bad bout in between my two, ( his third ) so for what seems like forever we have been perhaps not sick but not quite well either.
Arhhhh well onwards and upwards.

not feeling well is "something much" and especially when it's constant and on-going! hope you 2 can kick these germs soon, Vivi ♥

I hope you feel better soon Vivi. Recurring cold and flu really knocks you for six. Rest up and take care of yourself. Hubby too.
 
Hi all update : saw the doc. Have a chest infection,inflamed lungs,sinus and ear trouble.... yeah.... might as well have everything at once,and be be done with it....
On a good note after a day on antibiotics and (my pet hate in medicine,but what can you do ?) Steroids I feel a bit better....
I finish everything,including the sinus meds in a week, so should be fighting fit by then...

steroids are hated but when necessary! You sure had a touch of everything, Vivi

You have to do what you have to do to get well, so be a good girl and do what the doctor told you. Looking forward to talking to the fighting fit Vivi. Rest up.
