Why are all the editor options greyed out in my forum and gallery comments box?

In both the forum and the gallery you have a comment box in which to type comments.

If you inadvertently click on the Toggle BB Code icon (the cog on the far right of the editor options) all your editor options will be greyed out (see image below).

EDIT - PLEASE NOTE - With the latest upgrade to the XenForo program the little cog icon (pictured below) has now been REPLACED with a two bracket symbol that looks like this . . . [ ]

This icon still works in the same manner as described below.

Clicking again on this icon will restore your options (see image below).
